Sullivan Area Arts is sponsoring its third public art exhibit and contest. Cash prizes will be given for first, second and third place in the people’s choice and judge’s choice divisions.
The exhibit will be available for viewing at Cathrine’s Custom Framing & Gallery at 9 West Jefferson St. during Oktoberfest.
Wine tasting & judging will be held on October 18. Votes may also be cast during this time, and all entries will be viewable the next day.
Entries must be dropped off at Cathrine’s Custom Framing and Gallery 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, October 12.
The contest is open to all original artists’ works including three-dimensional and photographic work and to those in high-school and older.
Kits, commercially manufactured jewelry, commercial molds, or commercially cast products are not acceptable.
Following the contest, all work must be picked up 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, October 26.
