Moultrie County Rush See Success at State

Submitted The Mo-Co Rush enjoyed one of their most successful weekends in program history the weekend of July 4 by placing four of five teams in the top five in their state tournament. The 18U finished fourth, 14U fifth, 10U fifth, and the 12U were crowned state champions of the NSA B State Tournament in Peoria. To win the title the 12U went undefeated at 6-0, but needed a miracle comeback in the championship game to take home the title. Down 9-2 in the final at bat with time expired the Rush got hit after hit, including the final walk-off base hit with two strikes and two outs to win 10-9. The 12U now stands at 52-20 on the season.
