Coming into the game Sullivan knew it would be giving up a definite size advantage to St. Anthony. In the first half, the Redskins held the Bulldogs to 18 points, but trailed at the break 18-17 in spite of 9 first half points from junior guard Nick Frerichs.

“Holding a team to 18 points at halftime is something I knew we could do,” Redskins head coach Chet Reeder stated. “I just didn’t anticipate it happening in game two of the season. We dug in, competed, and rebounded well. On the defensive end of the court we played our tails off tonight, and I am proud of our kids for that. Nick started the game off aggressively and that was what we wanted to do in our game plan.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
