Charleston Hands Sullivan Girls a Loss

The trip to Charleston found Sullivan’s girls’ basketball team faced with a 75-27 loss.
“Charleston is a very disciplined and fundamental team,” coach Sheri McCain said of the game, noting that turning the ball over 32 times told the tale of the Redskin loss.
Charleston started the first quarter 16-2 over the Redskins. The 22-12 second quarter put the Trojans ahead 38-14 at the half. Charleston scored 21 to Sullivan’s nine points in the third quarter and 16-4 in the fourth for the 75-27 win.
