The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting the Fourth Annual Eagle Day event Saturday, February 14 at the Lake Shelbyville Visitor Center.
New to Eagle Day this year, the Illinois Raptor Center will present a short 30 minute program just for kids. Raptors for Kids begins at 10 a.m. There will also be two 50 minute Birds of Prey programs featuring a live bald eagle along with other live birds of prey. The first program starts at 11 a.m., and the second program will start at 1 p.m. There is no cost to attend the program, however only 150 seats will be available per showing.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
