Sullivan police chief John Love is asking businesses and the public alike to be on the watch for counterfeit money in Sullivan.
Love says that a local business recently received a $100 counterfeit bill, which was confirmed by a Sullivan bank.
The police chief says that should anyone be suspicious of receiving possible counterfeit monies, to take the bills to any local bank where staff can then inspect it for fraudulence. If such is found, the bank will then notify local authorities.
