Funeral services for Duane E. “Brownie” Powell, 88, of Arthur, formerly of Lovington, were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Lovington. Burial with military rites by Lovington American Legion Post #429 was in Keller Cemetery in Lovington.

He passed away at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 in McKinley Court in Decatur.
