Clements’ banner day helps seal victory

Sullivan survived a scare from Windsor/Stew-Stras on the road Saturday. The Lady Redskins jumped out to an early 8-2 lead, but Windsor battled back to within one run at 8-7 in the sixth inning. Sullivan starter Heidi Clements had an all-conference kind of day going 3-for-5 from the plate knocking in two RBI and sealing the win from the mound. After the win, head coach Ben Richter complimented his starter’s all-around game.
“I can’t say enough good things about Heidi. She always does a great job throwing strikes and making them put the ball in play. As our number three hitter, that is what we expect out of her.
