The Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond FFA members Christy Allen, Janette Combstock, Katie Kerns, Josiah Kinert, and Kayley LaGrou traveled to the Illinois State FFA Convention in Springfield on June 9 through June 11.
The Illinois State FFA Convention is held every year during the second week of June at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield. This year over 3,000 FFA members from across the state came to Springfield to go to workshops, attend sessions, visit the career fair, go to the FFA dance, attend a minor league baseball game, and elect the 2015-16 Illinois State FFA officer team.
