The Cowden-Herrick Hornets were no match for the Lady Redskins from Sullivan January 7.
Sullivan came away with a 47-17 win.
Sullivan started the first quarter with a 10-4 lead. The Lady Redskins had a 13-2 run in the second quarter over the Hornets, going into the half ahead 23-6.
The third quarter was a Sullivan shutout with 14 points followed by a 11-10 Cowden-Herrick fourth quarter.
“The girls put four good quarters together offensively,” coach Sheri McCain said. “I was very proud of their intensity and effort, and for the first time this season they communicated exceptionally well.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
