Overtime Victory for Knights at Shiloh

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights scored a 47-45 overtime victory against the Tri-County Titans Friday, January 15.
The Knight’s trip to Shiloh proved to be a good matchup as the Titans matched ALAH’s free throw percentage at 66.7. They were better from the three point line with 33.3 percent compared to ALAH’s 25 percent, but the tale was told in field goals as the Knights shot 41.9 percent to the Titans 33.3 percent.
In the first quarter the Knights outscored the Titans 8-7. ALAH moved on to have a 13-8 run in the second quarter sending them ahead 21-15 at the half. A cold third quarter for the Knights put the Titans on a 15-5 run.
Going into the fourth quarter Tri-County was leading 30-26. The Knights tied the game with a 15-11 effort in the last quarter. ALAH came out on top with a 6-4 overtime run ending the game 47-45 Knights.
The Knights’ Will Cohan had a good night hitting 7-9 field goals and 7-8 free throws for 21 points. Cohan grabbed eight defensive and two offensive rebounds for 10 while providing a steal and one assist.
