Zach Hrvol’s 31 Points led the Redskins to 70-54 Victory over St. Teresa January 22.
Sullivan notched a 16 point win over conference rival St. Teresa Friday. Ty Molzen scored his 1000th point early in the contest and finished with 15 for the game. Redskins head coach Chester Reeder praised his team’s effort after the win. “I am proud of our kids; this is the best overall performance we’ve had. Hopefully it snowballs because we have the potential to do damage in the month of January and February.”
Sullivan led the game from wire to wire jumping out to a 7-0 lead after a three pointer by Kaleb Shumard broke the ice. Shumard finished with eight points and grabbed five crucial rebounds in a performance for which Coach Reeder had been waiting.
“I have been on him for shooting the ball because he shoots 60% from three. Kaleb has really stepped up this year for us. He is shooting the ball more, and he needs to because he is one of our best shooters.” Molzen added a put back score on the next possession to move him into rare company with 1000 points for his career.
