•April 20, 2016•
Charleston’s 11 run second inning was more than the Sullivan Redskin baseball team could recover from in the 16-3 home loss April 14.
After no score in the first, the Trojans went on a hitting steak that knocked Redskin pitcher Zach Sowers off the mound after two innings. Austin Minnegerode relieved for 1.1 innings as the Charleston team kept hitting. Alec Ballinger finished the game in 1.2 innings getting four strikeouts.
Charleston added two in the second and three in the fourth for 16, with the Redskins scoring a run in the fourth and two in the fifth inning.
