Okaw Valley high school softball team celebrates back-to-back Regional titles.

Okaw Valley Timberwolves softball team won the Regional championship in a 12-2 win over Edinburg in Bethany May 21.

Head coach Dave Benning has led the Timberwolves to two straight Regional titles.

This set up the Tuesday, May 24 Sectional match with Casey-Westfield in Altamont.

Edinburg scored two in the first inning. The Timberwolves responded with two in the second, four in the third, two in the fourth and four in the fifth innings for the win.

Maddie Perrine was on the mound five innings for the win, allowing four hits, two runs and striking out five.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
