Fourth of July Sullivan Celebration

Fourth of July at Wyman Park in Sullivan starts Wednesday, June 29 and runs through Monday July 4. A 9:30 p.m. fireworks display finale is set.
The American Legion Post 68 requests all parade entries be prepared for the noon July 4th parade start.
Following the parade the Legion Hall hosts a meal prepared by Terry Warren for all parade participants.
Fourth of July activities at Wyman Park include turtle races at 2 p.m. followed by a watermelon eating contest and sack races at 3 p.m.
The Midway by Trinity Amusements opens the celebration with carnival rides 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. The carnival opens following the parade Monday, July 4.
Everyone is encouraged to join the celebration of American independence at Wyman Park sponsored annually by Sullivan Area Merchants and Sullivan American Legion Post 68.
