Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 will hold Arts in Central Park in downtown Decatur’s Central Park Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18. Seventy-seven booths will be open with artists from seven states exhibiting a variety of artwork for sale including jewelry, pottery, metal sculptures, glass, fiber arts, paintings, and more. Enjoy a festive atmosphere of music, working demonstrations, special 3D guest artist, along with kids’ art activities sponsored by Giggles, face painting by The Zoo Lady, caricatures by local artist Ed Lozano, Jr., and a special Kids ArtShop for children 12 and under to buy art.      Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
