Sullivan native Lynn Donnell is helping revolutionize business data processing with a state of the art computer software system which is making it easier for companies which produce a large volume of files, reports and other important data to store the information. Donnell, who is the son of the late Gilbert and Eleanor Donnell and nephew of Sullivan residents Floyd and Wilber Donnell and Paul Sager, is the founder and president of Donnell Systems, a computer company in South Bend, Ind.
The Sullivan Scholastic Team was a team on a mission Monday night when they traveled to play the Tornadoes and Niantic-Harristown. The Redskins varsity knew that two victories would secure second place in the big CISL conference. Playing for Sullivan were seniors Brian Foster, John Freese, Mindy Livingston and Stephanie Sleeth and juniors, Breanna Cooper, Julie Gore and Erin Marshall.
Tim Williamson and Kristen Grooms of Sullivan were recognized as outstanding 4-H’ers for 1991 during the recent Moultrie County 4-H Achievement Program. Outstanding first year members recognized included Chris Bennett, Heidi Crawford, Amanda Edmonds, Tyson Grooms, Kim Voegel and Nicki Wood, all of Sullivan; Ranee Casteel, Meghan Murphy and Kyle Reedy, all of Lovington and J.C. Fitzgerald, Christine Marshall, Ryan McCabe and Erik Stollard, all of Bethany.
