During the June 12 Lovington Village board session president Roger Walker appointed Brenda Wood as trustee.

Wood fills the seat vacated by Walker and completes his term which expires 2019. All members approved the recommendation.

Fireworks coordinator Jake Kamm presented details surrounding the Junefest fireworks display which included barricades and safety personnel at the school field.

President Walker reported all five trucks were filled during townwide clean up with the village placing a dumpster behind Lester’s building until the end of June to accommodate the overflow.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
