Improvements at Bethany Cemetery Funded by Improvement Grant

Farm Credit Illinois recently awarded a community improvement grant in the amount of $400 to the Sunny Side Flea Flickers 4-H club of Moultrie County.

The club used the grant funds to beautify the American Legion Post 507 memorial plot in Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany by updating the landscape.

Club members learned how to plan and execute landscape projects and the different plant varieties which grow well in Illinois. They will maintain the landscape throughout the year by weeding and watering the plot.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
