As one of his last official duties as treasurer of the Lovington High School Alumni Association, Leroy Fair presented a $200 check to Lovington Grade School library aide Lisa Brown.

Fair has served the alumni group as treasurer for the past six years. Through the years since he graduated from LHS he has also served four terms as president as well as chairing many other committees including the membership and banquet reservation committees.

Since he graduated from LHS in 1961, Fair has missed only one homecoming banquet. Recent past presidents of the association DJ Smith, Judi Pound and Carol Smith have counted on Fair to help keep the group running smoothly.      Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
