Okaw Valley girls’ basketball team hit another season goal by winning the Little Okaw Valley Northwest Division with a perfect 5-0 record Thursday.

On senior night in Bethany, the Timberwolves topped Argenta-Oreana 66-36 to win their first outright LOVC championship since 2004-05.

But now the IHSA Class 1A Chrisman Regional has started, and OV is poised to compete for a regional title.

“Right now our focus is on the regional and advancing as far as possible,” said OV coach Brad Ackers. “There are a lot of good basketball teams out there. We will not be overlooking anyone.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
