The Windsor FFA Chapter sent seven students to the Section 16 Proficiencies CDE in which the members are graded and compete with their personal record books. Three of those members advanced to the district competition to be held March 7.
Members who advanced are Mackenzee Hooten, Mason Campbell, and Gage Sattler.
Campbell, Hooten, and Marylee Orman participated in the Livestock Judging Contest at the Illinois Beef Expo placing sixth. Schools across the country have just finished with National FFA Week.
The Windsor officers provided and served a teacher appreciation lunch for all of the staff at Windsor High School. The Chapter members also invited the whole school to participate in a week long strand of dress up days featuring fun themes of Camo day, Case IH vs. John Deere day and Farmer day.
Other activities during the week were drive your tractor to school day and the Ag olympics. The Ag olympics had a great turn out featuring interactive games for all of the students in the school.
