The Moultrie County Republican Central Committee held its convention Wednesday April 18 at a dinner meeting at Sullivan Country Club.

The purpose of the convention is to reorganize the coming two year period including electing offices and voting for a representative to the Illinois State Republican Central Committee from the 15th Congressional District.

Officers elected were David McCabe, chairman; Keith Frantz, vice chairman; Roger Glazebrook, treasurer and Zach Helton, secretary. After a weighted vote of each elected Moultrie County Republican Precinct Committeeman, State Senator Chapin Rose was selected to be Moultrie County’s choice for State Republican Central Committeeman.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
