Soyland Access to Independent Living (SAIL) has rescheduled the Personal Assistant Orientation for people interested in working as a personal assistant.
The Orientation will be held 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17 in the Shelbyville SAIL Office, 1604 West Main, Suite 100 in Shelbyville. There will be a break for lunch.
Personal assistants are employed by people with disabilities to perform household chores and personal care tasks in their homes and are paid by the state of Illinois through the Department of Rehabilitation program.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
