Sullivan paramedics were on scene to treat Bethany residents Jonathan Moody and M. Louise Marshall after a head-on collision on route 121. Both were treated at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Cindy Haegen, George Rutledge and Linda Carlton were elected new board members of the Sullivan Area Chamber of Commerce. Patti Ketchmark, owner of D&M, was inducted in as the new chamber president.
Bethany fell to the number two seed, Findlay, in the Meridian Conference Tournament. It was the best contest of the year for the Mustangs as they traded the lead with the Falcons the entire first half. It was the Falcons who came out strong in the third period when they were able to feed the ball to Dustin Cruit who eventually scored 28 points in the game. Kevin Bowser had a great game leading the Mustangs with 23 points. The Meridian Conference tournament was won by the number one seeded Maroa-Forsyth.
