Big Sixth Inning Hits Cinch Okaw Valley Softball Win

The Okaw Valley softball team dropped a Little Okaw Valley Conference home game to Arcola last Wednesday and won an LOVC home game against Blue Ridge Monday.
Monday during senior night for the Timberwolves, OV scored three runs in the third inning to take a 3-1 lead but lost the lead after Arcola scored a run in the fourth inning and two runs in the fifth inning to take 4-3 lead.
OV battled back by plating three runs in the sixth inning then held on in the seventh for the 6-5 win.
Madison Vogel was 3-for-4 with a homer, four RBIs and a run scored, and Kalie Reed was 2-for-3 with a run scored.
Paige Coleman drove in a run and scored a run, and Miaya Lehman was 1-for-2 with a walk, one run scored and stolen base.
Kate Jeffers, Grace Bunfill also recorded a hit each, and Bunfill and Kalie Reed each scored a run.
