Each start off rusty, but Knights Clean Up

The recent adverse weather did not help local schools in many ways, particularly in extra-curricular activities. Okaw Valley had no school for the first three days of this past week, and Arthur’s first day of school was Wednesday.

Early on in Friday’s LOVC opener for the two squads, the rust was clearly getting shaken off.

“We didn’t have very good practices until yesterday,” Knights head coach Dale Schuring stated. “I think the layoff had a little to do with it. We were down a little bit, but I wasn’t too concerned because I knew the kids would respond.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
