Allie Hennigh of Windsor is celebrating the opening of not one but two businesses this coming Saturday. Hennigh opened Allie’s Gift and Garden two months ago and will have the first day of business for Allie’s Alibi, a winery, on Saturday.
The Gift and Garden is located in what was formerly a grain elevator. The house next to it, which is the home of Allie’s Alibi, was a train depot at one time. Her parents Kelley and Greg Hennigh and boyfriend Brandon Sarver helped revamp the inside of the buildings. Allie also credits her parents with providing moral support and aiding in the wiring of the building. Sarver and his mother Scherryll created all the paintings on the walls. Scherryll also did the paintings for sale in the shop.
