The Village of Lovington board met on March 14. During that meeting, the board approved amending the ordinance about liquor sales. Prior to the new ordinance, liquor sales were not allowed on Sundays. The board approved allowing liquor sales on Sundays except between the hours 1 am and 6 am. The new ordinance has made the closed time the same each day.
