Windsor Harvest Picnic 2022

The Windsor Harvest Picnic was held on August 18-20. On Thursday evening there were pork chop dinners for sale by the Windsor Harvest Picnic were served and the Methodist Church had an ice cream social. The Windsor American Legion presented a patriotic opening and musical entertainment included the Family Worship Center Band and Jake Hoult and Mikayla Joy. On Friday evening, there were fish dinners by the Windsor Harvest Picnic with homemade desserts by 5th and 6th graders. Little Miss Harvest Picnic was announced and that honor was given to Brystol Wiltermood. She received a crown and a sash and also rode in the parade on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, the Windsor FFA served breakfast under the pavilion. The 5K run began shortly after and mid morning children competed to see who could go the farthest distance in the pedal tractor pull. In the afternoon, the parade was held with Shelby County royalty as well as royalty from the Mattoon Bagelfest. This year’s theme was “Back to Our Roots.” That evening there was a chicken dinner by Windsor Harvest Picnic and homemade desserts by W.H.A.T. Musical entertainment that evening was T.G. Sheppard.
