Alternative Voting Notice

Notice is Hereby Given to the Elderly (over 65) and voters with a disability that the County Clerk’s office has complied with Federal and State election laws to promote the fundamental right to vote by improving access to registration, polling places and election day voting. Due to COVID-19, many voters are choosing an alternative method of voting, which may be Voting by Mail, or Early Voting.
Last Day to Register to Vote: Tuesday, October 11, 2022. If you need to be registered or need to transfer your registration, you may register at the County Clerk’s office, 10 S. Main, Sullivan, at any of the libraries in Moultrie County, or online at co.moultrie.il.us. Remember, if you have moved, even if it is across the street, or have changed your name, you must change your voter registration!
Grace Period Registration and Voting: October 12-November 8, 2022. If you are not registered and missed the registration deadline, it is still not too late. Register to vote during the Grace Period Registration and Voting period; however, you must vote at the same time. This can only be done at the County Clerk’s office, 10 S. Main, Sullivan
