Even with inclement weather scattered around central Illinois, Sullivan softball was still able to get in all seven games scheduled. Unfortunately, after posting a win in the first game of the week, the ladies found themselves on the losing side of the column for the remaining six games.
The week started off on the road against Tri-County. Kylee Freese led the team in batting going two for two with an RBI and two runs scored. Aeralyn Thrasher and J’Nai Webb each batted .500 and combined for three RBIs. Harmony Ray was one for three with a homerun and two RBIs.
Tabitha Webb was the winning pitcher. She threw seven innings giving up just five hits and one run while striking out 11. She was helped out in the field behind her with the team going error free in the game. Final score was 6-1.
