Melba Strong

After a short illness, Melba Cochran Strong passed away Dec. 1, 2014 in Plano, Tex. She was born Dec. 25, 1936 in Sullivan to Grant and Ethyl Collins Cochran, the youngest of 13 children. She was the granddaughter of 6^th Circuit Judge Oscar Cochran and great-granddaughter of 6^th Circuit Judge/Illinois Speaker of the House William Granville Cochran. She was always very proud of her family heritage and of growing up in Sullivan.
