The Marching Redskins competed at Mt. Zion High School on Saturday, September 26th, and received second place in Class A. The Color Guard was recognized as best in their class. The Marching Redskins will compete again next Saturday at Eastern Illinois University.

Former State Representative Brad Halbrook (R-Shelbyville) announced his candidacy Thursday for State Representative in the 102nd District. “My service in the Illinois House of Representatives was the highlight of my public service. I’m looking forward to serving again and helping turn Illinois around.” Halbrook served as State Representative from 2012 to 2015.
