A Six Match Week Kept OV Volleyball Team Jumping

The Okaw Valley volleyball team finished a busy week with six matches including Central A&M three times.
OV played four games in the LSA Tournament Saturday, finishing 1-3, bookended with a match against Heritage and Central A&M.
Monday night OV lost to Heritage in the first set 25-17 but bounced back in the second set to win 25-22.
In a marathon third set OV eventually lost 37-35.
Sadie Zimmerman had two aces, eight digs and 30 assists.
Paige Coleman totaled 14 kills and 11 digs, and Kate Jeffers tallied 13 kills and seven blocks.
Bella Benning had 15 digs, and April Decesaro finished with 12.
In the LSA Tournament, where each match was close, OV lost to Unity and Eisenhower and split two games with Central A&M.
In the 25-18, 25-22 lost to Unity, Coleman collected two blocks, seven kills, seven digs and two aces.
Zimmerman added 16 assists, and Jeffers had six kills.
