The Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond baseball team split a pair of games this past week.

ALAH lost to St. Anthony Saturday but knocked off Cerro Gordo-Bement 8-3 in a Little Okaw Valley Conference Northwest division game Friday, April 27.

Against CGB, the Knights scored four runs in the second inning to take the lead and tacked on another run in the fourth inning for a 5-0 lead.

In the top of the fifth inning, CGB scored three runs to cut the lead to two, but the Knights answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth and two more runs in the sixth for the final 8-3 score.     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
