ALAH Girls Too Much for Broncos

ALAH girls basketball won 59-35 over the Cerro Gordo Broncos in a home game January 14.
The Knights came out with a 15-11 lead in the first quarter. A couple of three point shots from Hannah Wallen boosted the second quarter to 17-5, with the Knights heading into halftime ahead 32-16. ALAH maintained their momentum in the third quarter leading 11-10. They polished off the Broncos with a 16-9 final quarter and a 59-35 Knights win.
Megan Fifer had an outstanding night at the free throw line scoring 10-12 along with three field goals for 16 points.
Hannah Wallen hit three three point shots and three from the field for 15 points; Liz Shipman had a strong fourth quarter scoring three of her four field goals on the night for eight points.
