It was virtually all running from the start. For one team, it worked, but for the other, not so much.
For Cerro Gordo-Bement, running back Steve Isbell amassed more than 200 yards while fullback Dee Woods rumbled long and hard for the Broncos and went over the century mark. The vaunted Bronco rushing attack played keep away from the Knights’ offense which put up 99 points in their first two contests.
