Arthur Fireworks Saturday

The village of Arthur, is having fireworks Saturday, June 30.
The Freedom Celebration salutes Illinois’ bicentennial with a rare chance to view Abraham Lincoln’s funeral hearse and the largest fireworks display in central Illinois.
The hearse will be available for viewing at the corner of South Vine and West Progress Streets in downtown Arthur from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 and will be driven in the Arthur 2018 Illinois Legacy Parade “Happy 200th Birthday Illinois” starting at 2 p.m. that day.
At 4 p.m. the festivities then move down to the Moultrie-Douglas County Fairgrounds just off Illinois Route 133 for the largest fireworks display in central Illinois.
