Author Offers To Speak Locally
•May 1, 2019•
Local author Byron Cruit is offering to share thoughts on his writings at local churches and clubs in the area.
Cruit is a 1968 Bethany High School graduate who is originally from Dalton City. Since he began his book in 2016, it has been a labor of love with the inspiration of God.
“My book contains 30 poems with reference to my relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as well as personal writings of joy during a 22-year Air Force career,” Cruit said.
Entitled “Drops of Sweetness” the author includes stories about Dalton City, Bethany, Sullivan and Arthur.
He is offering to speak at churches (Sunday School or Bible study), VFW, Rotary, Lions Masonic Lodges and other civic organizations. His father was a 32nd degree Mason of the Bethany Lodge.
Cruit lives in Augusta, Georgia and is planning a visit back home this summer or fall and would like to schedule engagements during that time.
