Crossman’s kindergarten class has plenty of energy and they are ready to learn.

Emily Crossman, Arthur Elementary School kindergarten teacher is raising funds through DonorsChoose.org to help students beat the winter blues.

The Beat the Winter Blues, That Is Inside Recess has a $1210 goal and needs some $920 more to purchase unit blocks, Playstix, and Magna-tiles for inside recess.

“Kindergartners are energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic learners. They come into the room ready to learn, move, and interact,” Crossman said.

“The students are eager to try new skills, learn new concepts, and participate in silly activities. Kindergartners soak up anything and everything you throw at them,” she continued. “Watching them grow, mature, and succeed has been one of the greatest joys of my career.”     Login or Subscribe to read the rest of this story.
