Boys track has strong showing at Arthur Invitational, records broken

The boys and girls track teams were well rested after their mid-week contest in Shelbyville was canceled. They utilized the extra rest and training at the annual ALAH Invitational.
Nineteen teams arrived in Arthur last Saturday for a seven hour track meet. Sullivan would score in 16 of 17 events, starting with Dirk Lane earning points with a fifth place finish in shot put while Lucas Floyd threw discus for seventh place. Sullivan went one, two in long jump with Deaiden Arnold jumping to first and Aian Fryman just .04m behind him. Kyle Corkill and Christian Ozier went back-to-back in the triple jump. Corkill jumped to third place with a 12.45m leap. Ozier landed in fourth with his 12.30m jump. Brett Bushue found second place in the high jump, clearing 1.77m. Johnathan Iacobazzi cleared 1.67m, putting him in seventh and earning a point for the team.
