Wyman Lake was in poor condition in the fall of 1941 when it was drained to remove the silt. Dept. of Conservation was called upon to remove the fish and once drained bricks & lots of junk were found on the bottom. Please submit photos to the News Progress for future consideration. Sullivan High School student Claire Kursell recently participated in the Central Illinois High School Art Exhibition at Millikin University. She received an honorable mention for her piece, “Bride of Frankenstein”.
