Buster Brown day was Wednesday, August 24, 1910, in Bethany. It was sponsored by the Redman and Dupree store. Buster and his dog Tige were the rage back then. They performed at 4:00. In June 1976, Sullivan hosted the Lake Festival. One of the programs was “Almost Anything Goes’ that was to mimic a popular TV show called “Anything Goes.” This photo is of the participants.
