Gary W. Stone, 75, of Sullivan, passed away at 12:34 p.m. Thursday April 18, 2019 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
There will be no services or visitation. A private family burial will be at a later date in Sand Creek Cemetery in Windsor. Arrangements are by the Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan.

Paul Powell

Paul Leroy Powell, 69, of Sullivan passed away April 17, 2019 from a prolonged illness.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25 in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, Ill. McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan is in care of arrangements.
Paul was born June 4, 1949 in Roswell, New Mexico and was raised in California. He was a Vietnam veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He married Mary Christine Plockman of Moreno Valley, California July 11, 1971. Paul enjoyed race cars, video games, painting, gardening and grilling outdoors. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday April 24 in Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Bethany with the Rev. Bret Bone officiating.
