Bill was born Dec. 22, 1932 to Herman and Edna Wampler and grew up in the Dalton City-Bethany area. He was preceded in death by his four sisters and two brothers.  Read More

His funeral was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 9 in Harper-Swickard Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial was in Mt. Zion Block Cemetery in rural Greenup.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m, Saturday, December 9 in Swengel - O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga with the Rev. Richard Coen of Neoga officiating.
