Funeral services for Gordon Dwain “Bud” Ozee, 73, a resident of Mason Point in Sullivan, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan. Burial was in Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany.
He passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015, after a long illness.

Janet D. Freadhoff, 67, of Sullivan, formerly of Fairbury, passed away at 11:15 p.m. Saturday July 25, 2015 in Mason Point in Sullivan.
According to her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan.

David Samuel Purvis, 89, of Sullivan passed away at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Sullivan Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Allenville Christian Church in Allenville. Arrangements were by McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Bud Grant
Byron M. “Bud” Grant, 79, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Sullivan and Lovington, passed away July 18 at the Lamplight care facility in Ft. Myers.
He was born Nov. 24, 1935, to John and Edith Grant of Chesterville and graduated from Lovington High School in 1953. Cherishing memories of their nearly 62 years of marriage is his wife and high school sweetheart Betty Grant (nee Bailey). They were married Aug. 28, 1953, in Champaign.

Pauline Evelyn Eaton, 93, of Windsor was welcomed into God’s pearly white city at 9:58 p.m. Sunday, July 12, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, in New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Sullivan. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. today (Wednesday) July 15 in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion General Baptist Cemetery in Coles Station.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor. Visitation will be from noon until time of the service on Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Creek Cemetery near Windsor.
