Zelma P. Spencer, 81 of Branson, Mo., formerly of Lovington, passed away at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Branson at her daughter’s residence.

Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in First Church of God in Lovington with Martin King officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Keller Cemetery in Lovington. The family has entrusted Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington to handle arrangements for Zelma.

Funeral services for Frances Evelyn Davis Atteberry, 96, of Arthur were held at 11a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Arthur with the Rev. John Stewart officiating. A committal service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan. Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola handled arrangements.
She passed away at 2:15 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 in the Arthur Home.
Frances was born August 26, 1918 in Moultrie County, a daughter of Clifford F. and Nancy Maye Harris Davis.   She married Dale D. Atteberry December 11, 1937 in Brazil, Ind., and he passed away January 26, 1992. Read More

Michael Lewis Harl, 54, of Windsor passed away at 11:15 a.m. Sunday Feb. 22, 2015 in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor.  Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
Michael was born May 22, 1960 in Shelbyville, a son of Lewis Franklin, Jr. and Phyllis June Cole Harl.
He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Read More

No formal visitation or funeral is planned, but a golf outing and service of remembrance will be held by family and friends at a later date. Reed Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan with Pastor Al Rennert officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Sullivan with honor guard ceremony provided by the Hodgkins Police Dept.

The Moultrie-Douglas County Fair Pageant will be held Monday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. for Little Miss Fair Queen and 7:00 p.m. for Miss and Junior Miss Fair Queen located at the south track on the Mo-Do Fairgrounds. Vying for the title of Miss Moultrie Douglas Fair Queen are: Abigail Meyer of Tuscola, Addee Mulligan of Arcola, Sarah Rogers of Atwood, Ava Whitson of Tuscola, Addisyn Wilson of Villa Grove, Emma Spillman of Tuscola, Aymara Leal of Arcola and Katilyn Kirby of Sullivan.
