James Douglas “Perk” Perkins, 72, of Sullivan, passed away at 2:12 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2023, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 1, at McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Sullivan with military rites by Sullivan American Legion Post #68 following the service outside of the funeral home. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Sullivan American Legion Post #68. Read More

Jacqueline Ann Jenkins peacefully passed away on June 8, 2023.
She was born October 16, 1930, to Josephine (Bradley) and Cyrus Yantis at home on their family farm outside Findlay, Illinois. She lived in various places in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana. Her final residence was at Mill Pond in Ankeny where she lived for almost 13 years. Jackie always loved working outside. She helped her father with the chores on the farm. She tended gardens at her own homes. She could be seen weeding the flower gardens at Mill Pond frequently. Read More

Dale Edward Matheson passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home in Tucson, Arizona on March 2, 2023. Dale was born March 25, 1941, in Moultrie County, Illinois, to Bob and Blanche Matheson. Dale was the youngest of 13 children.
