Alfreda “Freddie” Murphy

Alfreda A. ``Freddie” Stephens Bone Murphy from Bethany, Illinois, passed from this earth after a prolonged illness on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 88 years of age. Freddie was born on June 30, 1934, and was the only child to her beloved parents, Alfred H.F. and Cervus Alces (Nicholls) Stephens of Walsenburg, Colorado. Not only adored by her parents, Freddie was inspired by a close relationship with her two aunts, Aileen Cunningham and Bertha Stephens. Mary Kristina Wagahoft, 78, of Decatur, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at Eagle Ridge Assisted Living of Decatur, IL.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, March 25, at Graceland Fairlawn in Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Keller Cemetery in Lovington, directly following the service. Dinner will be provided for family and friends at Northwest Christian Church after the graveside service. Delano Yeakel, 73, of Arthur, passed away at 1:49 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
